A Life Shaped by Color and Landscape Born on July 29, 1932, in Pavlovce nad Uhom, Slovakia, Štefan Bubán spent his life translating the textures of his homeland onto canvas. His early years were rooted in the traditions of the region, leading him to study at the art department of the Higher Pedagogical School in Prešov, which he completed in 1955. He later continued his formal education at the Faculty of Education of Comenius Universit
y in Bratislava between 1959 and 1964. This academic foundation provided the technical skill that would support a career spanning decades of experimentation.
