The Life and Artistic Journey of Adolf Büger Born in Munich, Germany, Adolf Büger studied at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts starting in 1906, training in the classes of Peter Halm and Angelo Jank. His early career was marked by exhibitions in significant galleries, including those of Heinrich Thannhauser, Adolf Weinmüller, and the Brackl art dealership in the Munich Glaspalast. His work reached international shores in 1910, when he exh
ibited at the Neue Galerie in New York alongside Erich Heckel and Max Pechstein. Throughout his life, he maintained friendships with fellow artists such as Wilhelm Heinrich Nagel and Willi Geiger. The hardships of the world wars left profound marks on his life and work.
