Early Life and Family Background Daniël Nederveen entered the world on 17 August 1811 in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. His origins were rooted in the practical, tactile trades of the city. He was the son of Joannes Wilhelmus Nederveen and Maria Elisabeth Leeuw.
