The Classical Tradition of Graydon Parrish Born in Phoenix, Arizona, and raised in East Texas, Graydon Parrish is a realist painter who currently resides in Austin, Texas. His artistic journey began under the influence of his parents, who were collectors of nineteenth-century European and American art. This early exposure guided him toward an academic figurative style.
