      mladost a formação

      Bernardo Strozzi, známý také pod přezdívkami il cappuccino či il prete genovese, byl významným italským barokním malířem a rytovníkem, který přišel na svět v roce 1581 v italské Janově. Jeho první krůčky na cestě umění vedly do dílny Cesare Corte, méně známého janovského malíře, pod jehož dohledem Strozzi piloval své schopnosti až do roku 1596.
