A Forgotten Master of the Dutch Golden Age Ferdinand Bol, a name perhaps less familiar than those of his illustrious contemporaries Rembrandt van Rijn and Johannes Vermeer, nevertheless occupies a significant, if often overlooked, position within the pantheon of 17th-century Dutch Masters.
