      Linn

      1919 · Õlimaal kangaruumil

Linn: Modernsuse Monument – Légeri Urbane Visioon Fernand Légeri loodud maal “Linn” (1919) on rohkem kui pelgalt linnamaastiku kujutus; see on võimas avaldus kasvava tööstusajastu kohta, monument modernsusele. Maal, mis on täies mahus 230 x 297 cm, ei püüa lihtsalt jäljendada reaalsust, vaid sukeldub vormi, värvi ja tänapäevase elu olemuse sügavusse. See on dünaamiline uurimine sellest, kuidas me tajume linna – mitte kui staatilist kohta, vaid kui pidevas muutumises olevat…

      Mehaanik

1921 · Õlimaal kangaruumil · MoMA - Museum of Modern Art, New York

      Hommikuserkivi

1921 · Õlimaal kangaruumil · MoMA - Museum of Modern Art, New York

Fernand Léger'i "Hommikuserkivi" on tõeline kunstiteos, mis on maalis 1921. aastal. See meistriteos toimib lügikesena maailma kohta, kus kodune ja tööstuslik algasid sulanema ühtseks, dünaamiliseks visioksi. 20. sajandiku alguse modernismis on väheseid teoseid, mis püüaksid nii hästi tabama muutuva ajastu rütmilist pulsatsiooni. Teos esitleb kolme naise rühma, kes on kogunenud toapunõmme ümber, kuid nad on kaugelt möödunud traditsioonilised figuurid vaiksel port reeds. Selle asemel, Léger'i revolutsionaarsuse läbi, muutub hommikulise toitmis…

      Composition in Blue

Õlimaal kangaruumil · Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago

Fernand Léger’s "Composition in Blue" is a quintessential example of modernist art, showcasing his unique blend of Cubism and Futurism. The painting features a striking composition dominated by shades of blue, with a central figure – seemingly a woman or humanoid form – rendered in various hues of the color. This figure is partially obscured by a large blue headpiece, creating an enigmatic and somewhat mechanical appearance. The artwork incorporates…

Keskmine osa tutvustab laine-sarnasi, lainevatsid…

      Fernand Léger: the painter's story

      Fernand Léger'i elu

Fernand Léger'i lugu algab Argentani külas, mis asub Madrõun-Normandie piirkonnas Orne ängis.

      Cézanne'i ja kubismi mõju

See intensiivsete eksperimentide periood viis tema esimese suure näituse kuni Salon des indépendantsis 1911. aastal, kus ta esindas teost Nudes in the Forest.

      • Nudes in the Forest (1911)

Isegi sel aastal saadud lühikese puhkuse ajal tundis ta vajadust maalida, luues teose Soldier with a Pipe.

Tema visiooni füüsilist kohaloluvi on võimalik kokevad rannikuäärses Prantsus, täpsemalt Biot's, Alpes-Maritimes'i piirkonnas.
