      Life and Artistic Journey

Anne's life was deeply intertwined with the artistic and social circles of her time. After her father established a painting school in Edinburgh, the family eventually expanded their teaching efforts to London. Her home in Charlwood Road became a central social hub for her extended family, where her mother and unmarried sisters eventually gathered.

Her artistic contributions are preserved in various collections, with some of her paintings held by the National Trust. Notable locations for her works include Hartwell House and Anglesey Abbey. One of her recognized works is View of Windsor Castle seen through Trees.
