Jochen Klein
Artistic Evolution and Conceptual Work Jochen Klein was a German painter who began his studies in classical painting at the Academy of Fine Arts under Hans Baschang. Following his studies, he moved away from classical painting to dedicate himself to conceptual projects. He became a member of the New York conceptual artist group Group Material and authored texts regarding the relationship between aesthetics and politics.
