Early Life and Artistic Training Károly Bachmann entered the art world in Budapest, born in 1874. His formal instruction began around 1890 or 1891 at the Musterzeichenschule in Budapest. This period of study was defined by the direct influence of Gyula Aggházy and Bertalan Székely. These early years provided the technical foundation required for a professional career in painting.
