      Philippe Quantin:絵画に刻まれた生涯

Philippe Quantin was a French painter whose career was primarily centered in Burgundy. He gained recognition for his religious scenes and decorative works, many of which were commissioned by wealthy Burgundian figures. He also provided decorations for the château de Mussy-sur-Seine for Sébastien Zamet, the Bishop of Langres, and the cabinet des muses at the château de La Motte-Ternant between 1624 and 1628 for Charles de Marcilly-Cypierre.
