The Life and Style of Max Rabes Max Rabes exists at a crossroads of movement and identity. Born in Szamotuły within the German Reich on 17 April 1868, he eventually moved toward the Impressionist style. His brushwork captures light and atmosphere, yet he resisted the narrow categories often assigned to his output.
