Ivanas Milevas Lalevą, žymus bulgarų paveislininkas ir scenografas, gimė 1897 m. vasario 18 d. Kazanlakio mieste. Jis buvo ganininkas Milyu Lalevą sūnus. Baigęs vidurinę mokslą 1918 m., Lalevą organizavo parodą Kazanlakio mieste, kurioje pademonstravo savo ankstyvus meninius talentus.
