Asmeniškai Boutsas du kartus susituokė ir turėjo keturią vaikus; jo du sūnus vėliau patys tapo menininkais, tęsdami Boutsas šeimos dirbtuvų tradicijas iki XVI amieno vidurio.

Kiti jo žinomi darbai apima Teisingumo panelės, kuriose vaizduojamas Šventarosios Romos imperatoriaus Otono III gyvenimas, bei įvairias maldos skersinės panelės, pavyzdžiui, Švč. Mergelės su Pasaiku.
