The Formative Years in Germany Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, Auguste Schepp entered the world of fine art through the rigorous academic traditions of the nineteenth century. Her early training was shaped by the guidance of Eugen Napoleon Neureuther in Munich and Karl Ferdinand Sohn in Düsseldorf.
