Else Hertzer
The Artistic Journey of Else Hertzer Born Else Heintze, this German artist began her creative evolution in the early 20th century. After marrying Otto Hertzer in 1909, she moved to the Tiergarten district of Berlin. Her early artistic explorations took place between 1911 and 1913 in Buttstadt, Thuringia, where she produced several paintings and drypoint etchings. As her career progressed, she joined the Berlin Secession Movement and began formal studies at the Academy of Arts in Berlin.
