      Albert Edelfelt: the painter's story

      Zgodnje življenje, družina in usposabljanje

Prvi leta njegovega življenja so oblikovala mirna in spokojna okolja Porvooja.

      Umetniško potovanje in pariške leta

      Tehnika in umetniški slog

Ta prehod je jasno opazen v načinu, kako je obdeloval svetlobo in vzdušje v delih, kot je The Eklöf Boys on the Veranda of Villa Sjökulla.

      Znomena dela in dosežki

Njegel čopič je z nežno intenzivnostjo zajemal tiho čudenje znanstvenih odkritij in preproste gibanje življenja.

V delu Boys Playing on the Shore (1884) je občuteti posebno tišino.

      Dediščina in vpliv

Mlaši finski slikarji, vključno z umetniki, kot sta Akseli Gallen-Kallela in Gunnar Berndtson, so v njegovih metodah in sposobnosti navigacije skozi evropski umetniški svet iskali svojo pot.
