The Munich Academy and the Formative Years January 1854 brings Robert Hermann Raudner into the world at Nimkau in Silesia. He is the son of a telegraphist. The path toward the canvas begins in earnest in October 1878, when he enters the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
