Born in Tallinn, he was a man of many stages, though not all of them were painted. Before he was known for his brushwork, he was a dancer and a choreographer, finding his rhythm within the walls of the Vanemuine theatre. His connection to the stage was profound and long-lasting, spanning decades of disc
