Early Life and Education Born: Prague, Czech Republic (1930) Died: 2008 Studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague under Prof. Josef Wagner. Graduated in 1950 with a monumental sculpture of Master Jan Hus. Early influences included Otto Gutfreund, Henry Moore, Francis Bacon, and Alberto Giacometti.
