Exhibitions and Legacy
Throughout the 1930s and 1940s, Meyer Marsh was a frequent contributor to group exhibitions in both Manhattan and Manchester, Vermont. Her work appeared in shows at the G.R.D. As her career progressed, she received recognition through solo exhibitions at the Wakefield Gallery in 1942, the Macbeth Gallery in 1944, and the Frank K.M. Rehn Gallery in 1957, 1969, and 1974.
Her 1940 Self Portrait is held in the collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. Following her death in Dorset, art historian Lloyd Goodrich remarked on the lyrical poetry and unostentatious skill found within her landscapes.
