In 1522, he completed the altarpiece of Saint Agatha crucified among St. Peter, St. Paul, St. Lucy and St. Apollonia for the church of Sant'Agata. This work demonstrates his ability to manage complex groupings of saints within a single sacred space. His religious repertoire also includes a Marriage of the Virgin located in the church of San Francesco. These pieces were not mere decorations; they were functional components of the liturgical environment.

Technical Reach and Portraiture

Beyond the altarpiece, Prata’s skill extended to fresco work and individual portraiture. His frescoes decorate the dome of the Holy Sacrament Chapel in the church of Saints Fermo and Rustico in Caravaggio, Lombardy. This work shows a command of architectural space and large-scale composition. In the realm of portraiture, a depiction of Giovanni Battista Vannucci (or Vannini) from 1515 to 1518 is attributed to him. This period of work highlights his ability to move from the grand scale of church domes to the specific, individual focus of a portrait.
