      • 1905 verbrachte sie zwei Wochen in der Villa Médicis-Libre in Rom, einem Zufluchtsort für Künstler ohne formale Kunstausbildung.

      • Während des Ersten Weltkriegs (1913–1922) erfand Bailly ihre charakteristischen "Wollbilder", eine einzigartige Variation des Kubismus. Diese Werke nutzten kurze Stränge farbener Wolle, die wie Pinselstriche angeordnet waren und so strukturierte und visuell auffällige Kompositionen schufen. Sie fertigte während dieser Zeit etwa 50 Wollbilder an.
      • Bailly beteiligte sich kurzzeitig der Dada-Bewegung an, die darauf abzielte, Reaktionen beim Betrachter hervorzurufen, anstatt ihn einfach zu erfreuen. Diese Beteiligung beeinflusste ihr Experimentieren mit unkonventionellen künstlerischen Formen.
