Sein technisches Geschick ist in Gala Chamberlains Buch In A Modern Rendering: The Color Woodcuts of Gustave Baumann: A Catalog Raisonne dokumentiert, welches über 429 verschiedene Motive aus seinem Lebenswerk katalogisiert.
