Alfred Émile Léopold Stevens (1823-1906) fue un pintor belga celebrado por sus representaciones realistas de mujeres modernas elegantes y la vida parisina. Nacido en Bruselas en 1823 en una familia profundamente conectada con las artes visuales, Stevens se benefició de un entorno estimulante.
