Donald Moodie: A Quiet Master of Northern Landscapes

Donald Moodie (1892 – 1963) remains a singular figure in Canadian art history, celebrated for his profoundly serene depictions of the Canadian wilderness and meticulously crafted still lifes that capture subtle moments of domestic life. Moodie was born in Saint Catharine's Ontario, the son of Scottish immigrants who instilled in him a deep appreciation for the natural world.
