In 1903, she participated in the Esposizione Internazionale d’Arte di Venezia and continued to exhibit there almost annually until 1932.

Emma Ciardi’s career was tragically cut short by her death in Venice in 1933. However, her artistic contributions were celebrated just two years later with a retrospective exhibition commemorating the fortieth anniversary of the Venice Biennale.
