The Life and Journey of Jimmy Pike
Jimmy Pike was a Walmatjarri Aboriginal artist born in the Great Sandy Desert, Australia. Growing up as a hunter-gatherer, his early life involved drifting toward river valleys and sheep and cattle stations where food was more plentiful. His reach extended globally, with exhibitions held in the United Kingdom, Philippines, China, Namibia, and Italy.
