Katherine Porter was an American visual artist born in Cedar Rapids, United States. Through her canvases, she sought to convey the inherent conflict in life, addressing themes of chaos, constant changes, opposites, and clashes. Her practice often explored the tension between the personal and the historical, utilizing a style that could be described as both abstract and figurative.
