      Milan Milovanović, jedan od najznačajnijih srpskih impresionističkih slikara, rođen je 19. listopada 1876. godine u Kruševcu, u Srbiji. Svoj umjetnički put započeo je u beogradskoj umjetničkoj školi koju je vodio Kiril Kutlík, nakon čega su ga visoke umjetničke ambicije odvele na studij u Münchenu na Akademiji likovnih umjetnosti, te u Pariz, na prestižnu École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts.
