The town itself would later honor its native son by renaming Piazza Mercato to Piazza Giuseppe Amisani—a testament to the esteem in which he was once held. In 1924, he received a royal commission to decorate Ras al-Tin, the palace of Fuad I of Egypt—a prestigious honor that underscored his international reputation and artistic prowess.
