Sarah Ginn is a British artist whose career has spanned over fifteen years, evolving from digital retouching to becoming a recognized photographer, designer, theorist, and multimedia artist. Born in 1980, she experienced an early life shaped by her parents' military service, living in Gibraltar before relocating to various locations including Brighton, London, Cambridge, Cyprus, Germany, and finally settling in Bristol.
Ginn’s formal education included a degree in Graphic Design from Kingston University in 2002. Initially working as a digital retoucher, she serendipitously transitioned into photography, a field that would become her primary artistic focus. Her passion for electronic music, particularly drum & bass and dubstep, ignited her career trajectory when she began photographing events at the renowned Fabric nightclub in London in 2006.
As a multimedia artist, Sarah Ginn defies categorization, embracing experimentation across various mediums and consistently pushing the boundaries of event photography.
In 2022, Sarah Ginn rebranded as "Sarah Ginn Studio," signifying an expansion of her creative endeavors beyond photography to encompass other artistic mediums. Her LinkedIn profile indicates a current role as Senior Art Director with experience at HP Project. She continues to explore new avenues for visual expression while maintaining her commitment to innovative photographic practices and conceptual art.
