Anders Eriksson
Early Life and Family Background Anders Eriksson entered the world on November 3, 1774, at the croft Teget, located in Ölmestads by within the Reftele socken. He was born into a modest existence, the son of the crofter Eric Svensson and Märta Andersdotter. The stability of his early years was cut short when his father passed away in 1783. Following this loss, his mother moved to the poorhouse in Kållerstads socken, a transition that marked a significant shift in the family's circumstances.
