Ernst Oppler: A Pioneer of Berlin Impressionism

Ernst Oppler, born in Hanover in 1867, was the son of Edwin Oppler (1831–1880), a prominent German-Jewish architect. His early works demonstrated a naturalistic approach, reflecting the meticulous observation characteristic of academic training.
