Biografie kunstenaar
symbolistische meesterwerken
De meest beroemde werken van Watts omvatten:- Hope (Hoop) en Love and Life, bedoeld als onderdeel van een epische symbolische cyclus genaamd de "House of Life".
- The Triumph of the Red Cross Knight (uit The Faerie Queene), voltooid in 1852-53, toont zijn meesterschap in allegorische onderwerpen.
