The Dutch Canvas

His work often turns toward the specificities of place, capturing the essence of local environments through a painterly lens. In the streets of Alkmaar, his perspective transforms the familiar into something observed with a singular, focused eye.
His approach to the canvas is defined by a direct engagement with subject matter. He does not merely replicate a scene; he interprets the weight of a moment. This is evident in the way he handles themes of existence and the quiet, often heavy, realities of life.
