Throughout his career, he participated in various group and solo exhibitions across New Zealand, the Netherlands, and Italy.

In 1994, he was awarded the Bremer Kunstpreis, alongside Andreas Slominski, and received the Overbeck-Preis für Bildende Kunst. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, such as the 4. Berlin Biennale and various shows in cities including New York, Tokyo, Amsterdam, and Zurich.
