Wydruk można jedynie przyciąć, nigdy nie powiększając go poza oryginalny obraz, dlatego format o innych proporcjach spowoduje utratę części kompozycji. Przed rozpoczęciem druku prześlemy Ci cyfrowy podgląd do zatwierdzenia.

A master of chromatic abstraction and color theory. Discover the vibrant life within his paintings today.
1935 - , Germany
Born in Kiel, Germany, Raimer Jochims is a painter, philosopher, and art scholar. After completing his Abitur at the Katharineum in Lübeck in 1955, he began his engagement with painting. As an autodidact, he studied the transparent glazes of Stefan Lochners over reflective chalk grounds. His academic journey included studying philosophy, art history, and classical archaeology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, where he earned a doctorate in philosophy in 1968 with a work on the art theorist Konrad Fiedler.
Jochims’s professional career is deeply rooted in academia. He served as a professor of painting and art theory at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main from 1971 to 1997, acting as its rector between 1971 and 1985. His teaching roles also included positions at the Kunstakademie Karlsruhe and the Kunstakademie München.
The artistic trajectory of Raimer Jochims is marked by a transition from working as a free abstract painter to developing a concept of chromatic painting. Following a black phase, he discovered a fascination with color. His work explores the visual aspect of identity experience, which he suggests is found in all cultures through human senses. For Jochims, color and form are not merely aesthetic elements but are fundamentally manifestations of life.
His exhibitions have been held extensively in Germany and abroad, including venues such as:
