Ceramic representations of architectural structures give us an idea of what the buildings of different societies in ancient Peru were like. This ceramic shows how certain Lambayeque culture edifices had round windows through which both air and light entered. The guards at the entrance to the building and the special decoration of the walls appear to indicate that this ceramic is a depiction of an important building.
