The Artistic Evolution of John Walker

This period was also notable for the use of canvas collage, a method involving the application of separately painted patches of canvas onto the main canvas. While teaching at the Victoria College of the Arts in Melbourne, he produced the Oceania series, which incorporates elements of native Oceanic art.
