Life and Artistic Journey

Following a period in Geneva where he began creating his first works, he returned to Munich in 1884. There, he became a student of the landscape painter Professor August Fink for six years, a period during which he developed his own style. In 1900, he married Tusnelda Fink, and they had a daughter. By 1927, he was appointed a professor of fine arts.
