This process involves using wire to create a "relief print" by pressing the wire directly into paper, which remains enclosed by the material. This technique creates works situated between two-dimensional graphics and three-dimensional structures, described by the artist as a "reduction from space drawing to two-dimensionality." This concept relates to his "space drawings," which are wire sculptures formed from shaped wire and suspended from the ceiling by a string, allowing them to float freely in space.
