A Life of Artistic Resilience
Born in Frankfurt, Germany, Léo Maillet, also known as Leopold Mayer or Théophile Maillet, was a painter, photographer, and draftsperson. His early training began with the watercolorist Fay in Vienna, followed by studies at the Städelschule in Frankfurt in the graphics class of Professor Franz Karl Delavilla.
