      早年生活与训练

      亚瑟·休斯，一位与前拉斐尔派兄弟会相关的英国画家和插画家，于1832年1月27日出生于伦敦。1846年，他进入了位于萨默塞特屋的艺术学校，其第一位导师是阿尔弗雷德·斯蒂文斯。后来，他在皇家艺术学院接受了学习，在那里他结识了约翰·爱德华·米莱斯和霍尔曼·亨特，并逐渐成为前拉斐尔派画家长久成员之一。
