The painting Geraniums by Koloman Moser is a stunning example of Symbolism in art. Created with oil on canvas, this beautiful piece measures 100 x 100 cm and showcases the artist's skill in capturing the essence of flowers. The painting features a vase filled with purple geraniums, accompanied by yellow flowers, adding to the overall beauty and color palette of the artwork.
Artistic Style and Influence
Koloman Moser's work is characterized by its use of flowing lines, organic forms, and a sense of harmony with nature. As seen in Geraniums, his style is reminiscent of Art Nouveau, which was popular during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The presence of two chairs in the painting adds an interesting element to the composition, suggesting a setting or context for the artwork.
