Inspired by the slow pace and tranquil atmosphere of his home city of Hangzhou, he channels this more relaxedrhythm into the creation of a concavebamboo stool. Blurring the linebetween old and new, the sumof these stratified bambooveneers produces acompact piece offurniture, alludingto the countless layersof influences that shapecontemporary design.

Initially driven by aspirations of becoming a chef – a dream rooted in her mother's background as a lounge singer – Lin’s path shifted dramatically when she began managing a beauty salon alongside her sister. This experience, far from being a detour, proved pivotal, leading to her initial exposure and ultimately launching her career in the entertainment industry. Her early life instilled a resilience and adaptability that would become hallmarks of her subsequent successes.

      • Early Beginnings: Raised in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, Lin’s upbringing fostered a strong connection to her Chinese heritage, particularly through her mother's musical influence.
