Beside the retrospective paintings interpreting the history of art, Patricija Jurkšaityte has created a considerable number of completely different works, dedicated to the current issues of contemporary architecture. In the painting series Hotel Rooms and Last minute offers the artist combines motis from classical painting with įmagės take from contemporary advertising. Colourful imagės in travel agencies‘ catalogues reminded visual culture of the past. Their interiors sometimes resemble the imaginary spaces of clasical paintings.
