Beskrivelse af samlerobjektet

This stone object was made of amphibole from the Jangsu region in Korea. Such an object has been used since the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897), when objects made of amphibole from Jangsu were used on the king’s table. Infrared rays and minerals coming from the stone during the transfer of heat protect food nutrients and improve the taste of what we eat. Furthermore, the warmth of amphibole helps a person’s blood circulation. Amphibole is a healthy material that keeps the condition of both hot and cold foods as they are for a longer period of time.

Yoon Yongbin (Lee Sae-on): Bridging Tradition and Modern Expression

Yoon Yongbin, whose stage name Lee Sae-on, is rapidly gaining recognition as a multifaceted artist hailing from Seoul, South Korea. Initially recognized for his musical talent – notably debuting in 2018 with the drama “Inspector 2 of the Devil” – he has since expanded his creative horizons into acting and even ventured into the realm of cultural performance as an instructor for Banana Culture.

  • Early Life & Influences: Born in Seoul in 1995, Lee Sae-on’s artistic journey began with a fascination for Korean art history and sculpture. His formative years were marked by exposure to the legacy of Yoon Dongju Memorial Hall, where he immersed himself in the poetic spirit of Korea's national bard – a figure whose melancholic verses profoundly impacted his own creative sensibilities.
  • Artistic Style & Technique: Yongbin’s artistic style is characterized by a deliberate fusion of minimalist aesthetics and symbolic representation. He frequently employs sculptural forms, particularly amphibole objects—Korean stone vessels dating back to the Joseon Dynasty—to explore themes of heritage and transformation. These pieces are meticulously crafted, emphasizing textural detail and capturing the essence of ancient craftsmanship.
  • Notable Works: Yongbin’s artistic output includes several solo exhibitions showcasing his sculptural explorations and conceptual artworks. His “Amphibole Object” series stands out as a testament to his commitment to honoring Korean cultural traditions while simultaneously pushing boundaries within contemporary art. The artwork's simplicity belies its depth, inviting viewers to contemplate the passage of time and the enduring beauty of natural materials.
  • Recognition & Achievements: Lee Sae-on’s success extends beyond the artistic realm. His participation in “Produce 101 Season 2” solidified his presence within South Korea's entertainment industry, demonstrating his versatility as a performer and collaborator.
  • Historical Significance: Yoon Yongbin embodies a new generation of Korean artists who strive to reinterpret historical narratives through innovative mediums. By grounding his work in the traditions of Joseon Dynasty sculpture—specifically amphibole objects—he contributes to a broader dialogue about cultural preservation and artistic evolution, ensuring that Korea’s artistic heritage resonates with audiences worldwide.
